A map originally made by Troll-X (Trollgineer), the creator of the popular “trade_minecraft_realms” map. This map was exclusively made for a now shutdown server community called “TF2 Marketplace”, not to be confused with another similarly named TF2 item website. When the server closed 10 years ago, all traces of it and the map were gone too, except for the downloaded files. It comes with a HUD advertising the original community and creator too! My friend Feylo and I are running a server using this map currently, not just because we loved it so much, but clearly the support for this map is overwhelming, and making sure at least 1 server is accessible for those who want to relive some of those memories can! IP is 172.234.124.108Because this map was my favourite and I grew up playing it with so many memories, I saved all the files on my dropbox to preserve it when I inevitably changed hardware. This has allowed me to save and preserve this map from being lost forever.With the help of Ethosaur, we got the nav mesh recompiled into the bsp and fixed the rename to ensure the music would work. Its original creator and the server community that commisioned the map all abandoned this map, leaving no trace to find them or the map again. There is accessible evidence of an incomplete end portal that was in-progress, showing this map had yet to reach its full potential.What you’ll find in this map is that it is based on trade_plaza and trade_minecraft maps of the early 2010s, focused to be fun for combat, but also filled with fun hangout areas and exploration. Lots of halloween-centric features embedded, as well as a christmas feature. Be sure to find the secret rooms, a dodgeball room, an admin room with secret event switches, a music room that prevents killing. Even the nether is structured as a rocket jumping challenge with coloured flags for destinations to skillfully reach.We hope you enjoy it as much as I did and still do.

WRONG, one singular person asked for this (probably as a joke) and I decided to teach myself hammer for this nightmare to become a reality.This map SUCKS for vsh, it’s painfully long, cramped, uhhh, it’s dustbowl. I did try to make it ‘somewhat’ playable, hale can fit in every crack and crevice, I closed off a tiny window players can fit in that hale can’t, any stairs or tunnels were adjusted for hale’s girth, I adjusted some clip brushes to improve gameplay (-10 + 0.1 = -9.9)/10.I had multiple breakdowns in the process of porting this, would recommend trying to accomplish this to anyone else who had yet to even open vanilla hammer.Changelog added a shortcut outside second red spawn (blue last) that skips the stairs part (for wheelchair accessibility) removed the cone in that little sniper hut which overviews that walkway to last (more hale accessible) removed that random bridge by third round first point (dw I added warning stickers) made a wall breakable underneath the first point of round 2 (for literally no reason) shifted / removed annoying clip brushes (personal opinion on smth no one will notice)credits for VSCRIPT vsh gamemode:[tf2maps.net]LizardOfOz - Programming, game design, promotional material and overall development. Felt like messing around in hammer and noticed no sunny version of Sawmill (I couldn’t find one at least) so I decided to do my take on it. For the most part it’s just a reskin though there are some tweaks that may change gameplay such as:- Removed the player clip above the shack in-between red spawn and red’s entrance to the mid building.- Fixed some weird player clipping in both teams spawns that would occasionally snag the player towards the top of the stairs.- Changed the small health pack at mid to a medium one.Please note I am not uploading this in hopes of it getting in the game, I just did this because I was bored and it ended up looking nice.Original map by Valve.

It’s pretty much a large room with a central tower, 2 corner bases, and 2 corner spawn bases, along with two catwalks that go around most of the map. It’s meant to be ridiculously chaotic. Commenting and remaking this map would really help.I have no idea how this became the top item on the tf2 workshop. This is a version of the classic 2008 Payload map that fixes the persistent bug which would lock RED team in the lefthand room of the 1st stage spawn when BLU captured the 1st point. Haywood was highlighted in the YT’er Indii’s video “TF2’s Forgotten Maps” . Being one of the stand out maps for the then brand-new Payload gamemode, with an interesting and tragic history.Thanks to Gamebanana user SnickerPuffs [gamebanana.com] earlier this year, the map is now fully playable. They seemingly had no intention of uploading this to the Steam Workshop, so I’ve done it myself.
